  5. I have a few, very few, zinnias in my garden. I did not grow them from seed. Now that you tell me about birds and bees and hummingbirds, I will definitely plant more next year.

    1. I've also planted seeds in pots...the cheap, gallon sized ones you hate to throw away from your transplants. They grow beautifully and can be moved around the garden, adding a splash of color where needed. Easy and cheap! You never notice the ugly pot once the garden is growing.
